First, you should understand the electrical engineering job really will satisfy you. Most people in the field would recommend it to their friends and children because many people like the companies that they work for. Also there might be drawbacks in electrical engineering, because we are looking at a career that changes regular basis and the knowledge in this career is very important, because if you are out of the knowledge data you might lose you job. Also you should keep in mind that, if you are going to be an electrical engineer, there is usually a long period of study that can ideally include an apprenticeship.

Indeed, the faults or the drawbacks are in every career, not just in engineering careers or in electrical engineering. I think engineering careers satisfy most people, because there is a huge number of people entering or going into the engineering careers. Therefor, many people recommend this careers to their friends and children. As knowledge, I think our world improving and moving forward, so sometimes we are really Forced to take out some people from their position, and I think this is very rare. Also I believe that in every career there is should be a period for studying before going into this career and working, but if you really want to be an engineer, you will not care about the period of studying if it is long or short, because your goal is to become an engineer.
